Vipula Gunatilleke

Vipula Gunatilleke is a corporate executive. He is the current Group Chief Corporate Officer/Director of Aitken Spence Group Ltd. He counts over 20 years experience holding senior accounting positions in some of the blue chip companies in Sri Lanka,Singapore and Australia.

Educated at the Nalanda College, Colombo, Vipula is a graduate of University of Colombo with a Master of Business Administration. He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK, Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and Certified Practising Accountant in Australia. Vipula ias also a GE trained Six Sigma.

Vipula started his accounting career at KPMG and then moved to Hayleys Group Sri Lanka. Later he worked for Electronic Data Systems Singapore as Finance Director. He als worked as the GE Group Australia as a Financial Controller. Prior to the current appointment, Vipula has been the Chief financial officer of SriLankan Airlines. Also one time he had been the Group Chief financial officer of Dialog Telecom. He is the current chairman of CIMA Sri Lanka Board. Vipula is also a Council Member of Sri Lanka Association of Software and Services Co’s (SLASSCOM) and a Board Member of Board Member Sri Lanka Accounting Standards and Monitoring Board.
