Tonicha Jeronimo

Tonicha Lawrence (née Jeronimo; born 4 November 1977) is a British actress, born in Jersey, of partial Portuguese extraction. She starred on the show Emmerdale from 1994–97 until her character, Linda Fowler, was killed off. In 2000, she married her Emmerdale co-star, Stuart Wade (born 1 August 1969, Halifax, West Yorkshire), best known for playing "Biff Fowler". They have two children. In May 2016, she joined the cast ofBBC medical drama Casualty, playing the role of Steph Sims the mother ofCarmel Sims played by Lawrence's daughter Sydney Wade .

After Emmerdale she joined West Yorkshire Police for eight years. She founded TLA Boutique Management in 2011, a talent agency which offers drama training for kids. In 2017 she moved back to Jersey.

She has two daughters and one son. Her daughter Sydney Wade is also an actress.
