Biography
Tim (Timothy) Robinson is an American academic and leading researcher in psychology.
After completing his high school education at Forest Lake Area High School, Forest Lake, Minnesota, in 1961, he graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minnesota, in 1965.
In 1969, Robinson became a professor of Psychology at Gustavus Adolphus College. From 1999 until 2008, Robinson served as Director of the Nobel Conference, the first annual conference in the U.S. to be officially sanctioned by the Nobel Foundation of Stockholm, Sweden.
He also wrote the definitive book on the history of the conference: Future of Science: 1975 Nobel Conference.
Robinson is currently Professor Emeritus in Psychological Science at Gustavus Adolphus College.
