Tim Benton (geb. vor 1990) ist ein englischer Biologe.
Leben
Benton studierte an der University of Oxford (BA) und promovierte 1990 in Cambridge (PhD). Heute ist er Professor für „Population Ecology“ an der School of Biology der University of Leeds und UK Champion for Global Food Security.
Seine Forschungsarbeit liegt vor allem im Bereich der globalen Nahrungssicherheit (foodsecurity) und Naturschutzbiologie (conservation biology).
