Biography
Tille Modersohn (1907 - 1998) was a German philanthropist.
Tille was born in 1907, in Worpswede, Osterholz, Lower Saxony, Germany. She was the daughter of German artists Paula Modersohn-Becker and Friedrich Wilhelm Otto Modersohn. She founded the Paula Modersohn-Becker-Stiftung in 1978. She donated her part of the estate, consisting of more than 50 paintings, ca. 500 drawings – partly in sketchbooks – and etchings, to the foundation.
