Biography
Thomas Habinek is an American historian.
He specializes in Latin literature and Roman cultural history.
Life and career
He received his AB in classics from Princeton University in 1975.
He completed his PhD in classical philology from Harvard University in 1981.
Since 1992, he is the professor of classics at USC.
Awards
He has received two fellowships from the American Council of Learned Societies and the Associates' Award for Excellence in Teaching.
