Biografi
Thomas Cooper var intendent vid William Wilson Saunders exotiska trädgård i Reigate. Åren 1859–1862 samlade han växter i Sydafrika för William Wilson Saunders, Kew Gardens, Edinburgh Gardens, och Dublin Gardens.
