Teresa Loyzaga (born May 21, 1957), is a Filipina actress. She is best known for her role as the main antagonist of Pasión de amor, a Philippine remake of Pasión de Gavilanes by Telemundo. Loyzaga played the role as the iconic Gabriela Salcedo-Elizondo, Arci Munoz, Ellen Adarna and Coleen Garcia's mother. Loyzaga's home network is ABS-CBN.

Early life
Teresa Loyzaga was born on May 21, 1957, to Philippine basketball player Carlos Loyzaga and Vicky Cuerva. Her father, Carlos Loyzaga, died on January 27, 2016. Loyzaga has four siblings, one also actress Bing Loyzaga, who starred in the critically acclaimed television series Agua Bendita and Rubi. She has two brothers, who are both also basketball players, Chito Loyzaga and Joey Loyzaga. She also has a non-showbiz or basketball sister Princess Loyzaga.
Loyzaga has two sons, Carlos Diego Loyzaga, popularly known as Diego Loyzaga who is also an actor, and another son from a previous marriage Joseph Dizon. Loyzaga has custody of both of her children Diego and Joseph.
Personal life
Loyzaga had a husband named Arnold Dizon, who was a businessman, but they are already separated. Dizon and Loyzaga had one son named Joseph Dizon. The former couple both went to court in order to claim the rightful custody of their son. Loyzaga won the case.
She also had an affair with fellow actor Cesar Montano, husband of actress Sunshine Cruz. They had several controversies between Loyzaga and Cruz but is revealed that they are now on "good terms". Loyzaga had a son with Montano who is Diego Loyzaga. She has custody of both of her children.
