Ted Fang (Chinese: 方庆文; pinyin: Fāng Qìngwén) is a Singaporean businessman, investor, and hotelier. He is the founder and CEO of Tera Capital and co-founder and President of Frontier Group (Chinese: 新加坡辅特集团; pinyin: Xīnjiāpō Fǔtè Jítuán).
Fang founded Tera Capital, a private investment firm that invested in private and hospitality-related businesses in the Asia Pacific. In 2003, together with his two brothers, Harry Tan (陈嘉财; Chén Jiācái) and David Tan (陈嘉寿; Chén Jiāshòu), he co-founded Frontier Group, which acquired the Days Inn master franchise for Greater China from Wyndham Worldwide. The team successfully made Days Inn China (美国戴斯酒店集团,中国; Měiguó Dàisī Jiǔdiàn Jítuán, Zhōngguó) the fastest growing mid-market hotel chain in China. Fang oversaw the overall strategic direction of the group and all its investment activities. Fang was active in both Tera Capital and Frontier Group from 2003 to 2021.
Fang started his career in oil trading in 1992. In 1995, he founded an IT company and in 2003, he founded Tera Capital.
Fang was listed by Prestige Lifestyle Magazine as one of Singapore's 200 most powerful and influential people in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014.
