Tanzir Tuhin (Bengali: তানযির তুহিন, born 26 September 1974) is a Bangladeshi musician, singer, songwriter, actor and architect, who is best known worldwide as a lead-vocal and founding member of Bangladeshi independent music group shironamhin.
Early life
Tuhin was born in 1974 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and spent his childhood there. Tuhin did his schooling in Government Laboratory High School, Dhaka up to the tenth grade. He got higher secondary (HSC) from Dhaka College and earned BArch from the BUET. For the first several years Tuhin played he learned Nazrul Geeti and classical music from Bulbul Lalitakala Academy (BAFA), where Ustad Akthar sadamani, Kiran Chandra Roy, Ustad Niaz Mohammad Chowdhury and Narayan Chandra Basak were his music masters.
In 2000 Tuhin joined the Shironamhin band as a vocal. Their first album Jahajee was released in 2004. Since they have released 5 studio albums and several mixed albums. Their latest album titled Shironamhin Shironamhin was released on 19 July 2013.
