Biography
Swadhin Kumar Sarkar is an Indian politician of Bharatiya Janata Party from West Bengal. He is current a Member of West Bengal Legislative Assembly from Baisnabnagar constituency in West Bengal. In the West Bengal Legislative Assembly election, 2016, Sarkar defeated his nearest rival Azizul Haque of Indian National Congress by 4,497, thus becoming one of three MLA of Bharatiya Janata Party to be elected in West Bengal Legislative Assembly.
