Susanne McNinch is an American retired Navy Captain.
McNinch is from Florida. She received her commission through the NROTC (Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps) program at the University of Florida in December 1991. She has served in a variety of positions including Commanding Officer of Military Entrance Processing Station Boston, Command Officer of Navy Recruiting District New York, Director of Human Resources for Navy Recruiting Command and Naval Education Training Command, and Commander Navy Recruiting Region West. She retired in February 2019 after serving 27 years on active duty.
Since retirement, McNinch has dedicated herself to volunteer work serving on the Pastoral Advisory Council and facilitating continuing adult religious education classes at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Pensacola, Florida. She serves as a Board Member for Majella House Inc., a maternity hospital in Pace, Florida.
Personal life
McNinch and her husband, Robert, reside in Pensacola, Florida, where they are active parishioners at St. John.
