Susan L. Sherman-Broyles is an American researcher. She is a research associate at Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
Education and career
Sherman-Broyles completed a doctor of philosophy at Cornell University in 2007. Her dissertation was titled "Molecular evolution of the self -incompatibility locus in Arabidopsis." Sherman-Broyle's doctoral advisor was June Nasrallah.
She is a research associate in the plant biology section at the Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences School of Integrative Science. She works in Jeff J. Doyle's laboratory.
Personal life
Sherman-Broyles is married to Steven B. Broyles, a professor of biology. They have two sons, Chris and Cortland. Cortland is named after CUNY Cortland, where his father was a professor. The couple resides in Cortland, New York as of 2012.
