Biography
Sue Biggins is a professor at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and an investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Her research focuses on anomalies in cell division. She was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2105.
Biggins earned her bachelors degree from Stanford University and her PhD from Princeton University.
She has been awarded the National Academy of Sciences Award in Molecular Biology and the Novitski Prize of the Genetics Society of America.
