Sol Polito

Sol Polito was an Iranian-born American cinematographer who worked in the film industry from the 1910s to the 1950s.

Sol Polito worked on over 150 films throughout his career. Some of his notable works include "The Roaring Twenties" (1939), "High Sierra" (1941), and "The Adventures of Robin Hood" (1938).

Sol Polito was nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Cinematography. He was nominated for his work on "The Story of Louis Pasteur" (1936) and "Anthony Adverse" (1936).

Sol Polito retired from the film industry in 1953.

Sol Polito was born in Iran and later became an American citizen.
