Abdessamad Lamriq (born March 1, 1991, Safi), professionally known as Small X, is a Moroccan rapper. In 2006, he formed a rap group called Shayfeen with Shobee, before deciding to pursue his solo career in early 2021.
Career
In 2006, he created a rap group called Shayfeen with Chouaib Ribati, known as Shobee.
The group has gained significant notoriety in the Moroccan rap scene. Several tracks from the group (Ntouma Malkoum, Sahbi, Ghayb9aw Jouj, Khchi F Wednek, Wach Kayn Maydar, Tcha Ra, 7it 3arfinni...) have exceeded one million views on YouTube and have broken records on the streaming platforms Spotify and Deezer.
In 2019, as part of the Naar collective, he collaborated with Dosseh on Kssiri.
At the start of 2021, Small X decided to go solo. It occasionally releases XXL. After Phoenix, he reveals an EP of 7 tracks.
In March 2021, he is among the artists who collaborated with ElGrande Toto in his album Caméléon, through the title Thezz.
