Simon Knox (born 14 October 1972) is a professional rugby league footballer of the 1990s and 2000s, and coach, playing at representative level for Scotland, and at club level for Carlisle, Bradford Bulls, Salford City Reds, Workington Town, Halifax, Widnes Vikings, Leigh Centurions (twice), Swinton Lions, and Barrow Raiders, playing as a Prop, or Second-row, and coaching at club level for Blackpool Panthers, and Leigh Centurions (Under-21's).
Career
Born in Whitehaven, Knox joined Carlisle from amateur club Hensingham in 1991. He spent four seasons at the club before joining Bradford Bulls in 1995.
Knox played for Bradford at loose forward in their 1996 Challenge Cup Final loss to St Helens.
Knox won 3 caps (plus 1 as substitute) for Scotland in 1998–2003 while at Bradford Bulls and Swinton.
