Sharif al Mujahid

Sharif al Mujahid was a Pakistani professor who was the founding member of the Mass Communication Department at the Karachi University. He died in 2020.

He was born on July 1, 1926, in Madras (now called Chennai), India. He completed a BA in 1949 and did a Masters in MA Islamic History in 1951 from the Madras University. He received a Master’s degree in Journalism from the Stanford University, and Islamic Studies degree from the McGill University, Canada.
