Življenjepis
Vrišer je bil: profesor za muzeologijo in konservatorstvo (Filozofska fakulteta v Ljubljani), profesor za zgodovino likovne umetnosti in kulture (Pedagoška fakulteta v Mariboru) in dolgoletni ravnatelj Pokrajinskega muzeja Maribor.
