Selma Ergeç is a Turkish-German actress, model, psychologist and doctor. She is known for her roles in Asi (2007), The Voice (2010) and Sis ve Gece (2007).
Early life and education
Selma Ergeç was born on 1 November 1978 in Hamm, Germany. Her father is a doctor, and her mother, a nurse.
She grew up in Germany and studied medicine at Westfalia Wilhems University in Münster for three years and then, psychology and philosophy at the FernUniversität Hagen.
She speaks English, French, German, Italian, Latin and Turkish.
Career
Her career began with modelling in 2000.
She then got cast as Uğur Polat's wife in the show Sis ve Gece; as a teacher in Beş Vakit; and as the Hatice Sultan in Muhteşem Yüzyıl.
Personal life
On 26 September 2015 Ergeç married Can Öz. The wedding was held in Ergeç's childhood hometown in Germany.
Selma is a vegetarian.
