Biography
Sun Yizhou (simplified Chinese: 孙艺洲; traditional Chinese: 孫藝洲; pinyin: Sūn Yìzhōu; born 23 October 1983) is a Chinese actor. He is also known as Sean Sun.
Sun is known for playing Lü Ziqiao in the romantic comedy television series iPartment, which enjoyed the highest ratings in China when it was broadcast.
Life
Early life
Sun was born in Chengdu, Sichuan on October 23, 1983. He graduated from Shanghai Theatre Academy, majoring in acting.
Acting career
During 2006 and 2008, Sun appeared in several television series, such as Youth and Future, Lan Xin, The Sword and the Chess of Death and No.36 Beach Bar.
In 2009, Sun starred in a romantic comedy television series IPartment, alongside Eric Wang, Deng Jiajia, Michael Chen, Loura Lou, Kimi Li, Jean Lee and Vanessa Zhao, the series was one of the most watched ones in mainland China in that year. Sun also filmed in a number of successful sequels to IPartment.
In 2010, Sun played Jia Yun and his wife Cao Xiaowen acted Qing Wen in the historical television series The Biography of Lin Daiyu, which adapted from Cao Xueqin's classical novel Dream of the Red Chamber.
In 2011, Sun participated in Qian Duoduo Marry Remember, a romantic comedy television series starring Li Xiaoran and South Korean actor Park Hae-jin. Sun starred as Yu Zihao in the romantic comedy television series The Princess (2013), alongside Cica Weitong, Ady An and Lee Seung Hyun.
Sun starred as Kang Sihan in Bubu Jingqing in 2014, reuniting him with co-stars Nicky Wu and Liu Shishi, a romantic comedy television series to the ancient costume comedy Scarlet Heart.
Personal life
On September 9, 2009, Sun married his university classmate Cao Xiaowen (曹晓雯), who is a Chinese actress.
