Biography

Sathya Sridharan is an American film, stage, and television actor. He is known for his roles in Bikini Moon (2017) and Coup (2020,) for which he was nominated for Indie Short Fest award in the "Best Acting Ensemble" category.

Life and career

Sridharan is a St. Louis, Missouri, native and studied Dramatic/Theatre Arts at Washington University in St. Louis. Later, he studied acting at New York University. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. 

Sridharan made his debut on the stage, appearing in such plays as Faster Than the Speed of White (2010, at Wonderhorse Theatre, New York); U.S. Drag (2010, Chelsea Theatre Works, Chelsea, MA,); and Hapgood (Williamstown Theatre Festival Nikos Stage, Williamstown, MA).

In 2014, he made his television debut with a minor of an NSA tech in the episode "Need to Know" of the TV series Madam Secretary. The following year, he was seen playing the character of "Ben" in director Shaun Seneviratne's 2015 comedy/drama Tourists. After working in a variety of TV series, he was seen portraying the character of "Sergio H. W. Remnick" in the TV comedy mini-series Coup. For the role, he was nominated for an Indie Short Fest award in the "Best Acting Ensemble" category with fellow actors Annapurna Sriram, Haley Rawson, Matt Hopkins, Anya Krawcheck, and Wass Stevens.

Most recently, in 2020, Sridharan finished filming for Jaki Bradley's short comedy The Big Ask. The film is yet to be released.
