Biography

Sardor Milano (Sardor Ishmukhamedov) (born in Tashkent on 14 September 1991) is a singer from Moscow. Winner of the musical talent show "Main Stage", X-Factor Russia 2015 (Glavnaya Stsena), finalist of The Voice (Russia TV series) and a Finalist of New Wave 2017. He also played in the family musical "Snow Queen" at the ISTIQLOL Palace on 8–10 January 2015.

The casting for the 2015 season of Main Stage took place in December 2014 in Moscow. 10,000 participants attended auditions for the show but only 150 people were chosen at the public auditions. Out of those 150 people, the top 75 people were chosen to perform in the “Main Stage” located at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Russia. The judges of the singing competition are some of the most successful artists from Russia and neighboring countries. Those artists include Walter Afanasieff, Zhana Rozhdestvenskaya, Yuri Antonov and Sergey Chigrakov.

As the winner of the 2015 season of Main Stage, He was awarded with a national tour throughout Russia to showcase his talent. As a solo artist, he performed a starring role in each one of his performances. He was personally asked to and he performed at Russia’s June 12, 2015 Independence Day celebration at the Kremlin. It is an honor to be asked to perform at such a prestigious event in which you perform in front of the Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, and President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. Further, this Independence Day celebration is broadcast through the largest media outlets in Russia.

In early childhood he appeared in the children's entertainment group "Aladdin." When he was ten, he was entrusted with a leading role in setting-musical "Dreams Island." Four times he was the winner of Umid Yulduzlari music festival. When he was 14 years old, his parents moved to Almaty. It was very difficult move for him and he stopped singing for two years which, he had to re-learn how to sing. He was now able to expand his vocal range to three and a half octaves (the working range of professional choral singer is only one octave). He released his first English solo album titled All I wish. In 2004 Milano won the Grand Prix at the Yalta competition "Star Crimea", and one year later he won the main prize at the "Shining Stars" festival in St. Petersburg. He finally realized that music is his main vocation.

He graduated high school and later moved to Moscow where he entered the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music. He later starred in the video for the song of his own composition "Stop."

In the summer of 2015, Sardor journeyed to the US, where he was interviewed by WESH Orlando NBC and approached by legendary producer Tim Coons, who made his mark on the music world by discovering world-famous boy band "The Backstreet Boys" and producing several songs for "NSync.

Sardor's talents also include the use of a few tessituras in one composition (from baritone to soprano). This adds an atmosphere and richness to his performances, and also an unlimited space for the audience's imagination. Each of his performances is a show in itself. Some of his other performances includes the Celebration of Independence Day of Uzbekistan in Washington DC, Russian Ball "Venskiy Waltz", and Concert for veterans of the 2nd World War in Miami, FL
