Biography
Sarah Kagingo is a Ugandan business executive and strategic communications professional.Currently she serves as the Vice Chairlady of the Board of Directors at Private Sector Foundation Uganda. She is the managing director of SoftPower Communications.
==Early life and education background== She attended Blessed Sacrament Primary School Kimaanya in Masaka, Trinity College Nabbingo for UCE where she excelled and joined and Mt St Mary's College Namagunga for UACE in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. She received her Bachelor of Library and Information Science from Makerere University and pursued a professional career in public relations at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, United Kingdom.
Career
In 1997, Kagingo was voted as a Guild President for Makerere University 1997–1998 becoming the second female candidate to win the guild presidency since Makerere University was founded in 1922.She has served in notable organizationsIn 2013, Kagingo was appointed as the Special Presidential Assistant for Communication (2011-2014.). She is the Managing Director of SoftPower Communications and the founder and CEO of SoftPower News, an online news website based in Kampala, Uganda. On 3 August 2021, Kagingo was appointed as the new Principal Press Secretary of the Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda.
Board Leadership
In 2019,Kagingo was elected as the Director of the Professional Services Sector at the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU), the apex body of Uganda's private sector. She serves as the elected Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of PSFU where she has, in a short time, made a mark.

She is the former president of Uganda's Public Relations Body (2018–2020).Kagingo serves as a board member at Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU), a member of the Exco of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB, Uganda Women Entrepreneurs (UWEAL) and Uganda Media Women's Association (UMWA)
