Biography

Sarah Louise Clarke (born 28 March 1982, Croydon, Surrey, England) is a cricketer who played 6 one day internationals for the England women's cricket team from her debut against Scotland in August 2001 to her last game against India at Pune in January 2002.
She made a top score of 66 not out against Scotland in the European cup and took 5 wickets at 16.8 with her leg spin bowling, including a spell of 4 for 15 against Ireland in the same competition. Her best bowling figures of 6 for 11 for club side Purley Redoubtables came against Leeds & Broomfield in 2010, surpassing her previous best of 6–17 in the ECB Cup semi-final of 2001 against North Riding WCC.
Clarke was one of the first four women ever to be capped by Surrey County Cricket Club in 2015, along with captain Cecily Scutt, England international Natalie Sciver and long-standing squad member Katherine Robson.
In June 2015, she became the leading wicket taker for Surrey Women in limited overs cricket by taking 4–11 against Lancashire, surpassing Caroline Barrs as the previous record holder (120 wickets).
