Sarah Booth is a Canadian film and television actress, screenwriter, and producer.
Life and career
Sarah Booth was born as Sarah Hansen in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
She made her acting debut in 2009 with a minor role in Canadian short drama Desiderata. The following year, she was seen in a supporting role in director Pierre Gill's TV drama movie Fakers (starring Greyston Holt and Alexia Fast).
In 2011, Booth landed the recurring role of "Rhonda" in the French TV series 30 Vies. Credited as Sarah Hansen, she was seen in 23 episodes of the series.
Her next big project was director Gavin Michael Booth's horror movie The Scarehouse (2014,) in which she portrayed the character of "Corey Peters" alongside Kimberly-Sue Murray and Katherine Barrell. For her performance, Booth was nominated for "Outstanding Female Performance" at the 2015 ACTRA Montreal Award and "Best Actress in a Feature Film" at the 2015 FANtastic Award. She also served as an associate producer for the film.
Booth's next major accomplishment was with Last Call (2019), also directed by Gavin Michael Booth. The film tells the story of a bitterly alone man, Scott (played by Daved Wilkins) who calls the Suicide prevention hotline, but accidentally calls Beth, a janitor played by Booth. She was decorated with "Best Actress" at the 2019 Hamilton Film Festival and "Best Actor (Female Foreign)" at the 2019 CKF International Film Festival.
Booth was last seen on TV in early 2020 in two episodes of TV series My Perfect Landing. She has also finished filming for a few more projects whose release dates are yet to be known.

Sarah Booth has been married to producer/director Gavin Michael Booth since December 24, 2012. The two have worked together in several films.
