Sara Hagemann

Sara Hagemann is a London-based Danish academic and an expert on the European Union. She serves as an Assistant Professor at the London School of Economics and a member of its European Institute.

In October 2016, she was blocked from advising the British government's Foreign and Commonwealth Office on Brexit. Nick Clegg, the Liberal Democrats' spokesperson on EU affairs, called it "utterly baffling". The announcement made international headlines.
