Sar Sargsyan

Sar Sargsyan was born on 19th March 1981 in the town of Hadrut in Nagorno-Karabakh. He started his musical education at the Komitas Music School in Hadrut. In 2002, he graduated from the singing faculty of the Sayat-Nova College of Music in the city of Stepanakert. In 2007, he completed a course at the singing faculty of the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan under the tutorship of Professor Svetlana Kolosaryan. In 2008, he completed his post-graduate studies at the State Conservatory of Yerevan, again under the tutorship of Professor Svetlana Kolosaryan.

Sar Sargsyan has taken part in many concerts, and has also performed solo concerts in Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, the Ukraine, Bulgaria, the USA, UAE, Poland, Italy, Croatia, Lithuania, China and other countries. He is a soloist in the “Triumph” trio of the State Philharmonic Society of Armenia. Furthermore, he is also the artistic manager of the international foundation “Diamond Voice” in Warsaw, Poland. A member of an international selection jury.In 2012 his first solo CD was issued with the title “Karot” (“Desire”).
