Biography
Sanyukta Kaza is a film editor working in Mumbai, India. She is known for editing the national award winning film Ship of Theseus. and Tumbbad, which is credited to be the first Indian film to open Venice International Critic’s Week.
Early life
Kaza hails from Mumbai and graduated in B.M.M from Kishinchand Chellaram College, Mumbai. Following this she went on to study video editing at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune and followed it up with a Masters of Fine Arts at Chapman University (Los Angeles, California).
Career
She has edited the national award winning Ship of Theseus.She is also the editor and creative producer of Tumbbad.Bang Baajaa Baaraat a web series produced by Y-Films, Love Per Square Foot, first Netflix Original film from India and Tumbbad, for which she acted as a Creative Producer as well. She was nominated for her work in Tumbbad across several film awards including 64th Filmfare Awards, Screen and Zee Cine Awards.
