Biography
SZATMÁRNÉMETI Sámuel, Szathmár-Németi (satma:rne:meti) estis hungara reformita teologia profesoro, filozofia verkisto naskita en Satmaro la 10-an de aŭgusto 1658 kaj mortinta en Koloĵvaro la 17-an de decembro 1717.
Kariero
Szatmárnémeti komence studis en sia naskiĝurbo kaj poste en Koloĵvaro de 1675, en 1679 en Debreceno. Li studis ankaŭ en 1680 en Utrecht kaj en Lejdeno, en 1682 en Franeker. En Koloĵvaro li estis profesoro pri filozofio. Li disvastigis la ideojn de Descartes. En 1693 oni invitis lin ĉedoma instruisto de Apafi la 2-a. En 1695 li denove instruis. Li heredigis sian bibliotekon al la kolegio.
