Biography
Sam Pease is an author, television presenter, journalist and TV host in New Zealand.
Early life
Pease was born in England and moved to New Zealand in 1978. Her deceased parents were South African born with African Eurasian heritage.
Career
Pease began her career with TV3 as a teenager, two months after their first broadcast in November 1989. Although she began with an entry-level role, she soon moved into journalism and directing. Her first on-air role was for Nightline in 1992 interviewing the Beastie Boys during their first visit to New Zealand.
In later years, Pease hosted TVNZ's Use as Directed and spent 5 years presenting Family Health Diaries and other high-profile advertising campaigns.
Pease is the author of two books, Eat Less Crap Lose That Fat which spent 9 weeks in the #1 spot and Date Like A Dude. Her third book for Penguin Random House The Jet Project will be published in 2016.
Personal life
Pease has one son and is divorced.
