Salvador E. Casellas (born 1935) is a United States federal judge.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Casellas received a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University in 1957, an LL.B. from the University of Puerto Rico Law School in 1960, and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 1961. He served in the military from 1961 to 1962, and in the United States Army Reserve, JAG Corps from 1963 to 1967. He was in private practice in San Juan from 1962 to 1972. He served as Secretary of the Treasury for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico from 1973 to 1976, thereafter returning to private practice in San Juan from 1977 to 1994.
On June 21, 1994, Casellas was nominated by President Bill Clinton to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico vacated by Jaime Pieras, Jr.. Casellas was confirmed by the United States Senate on September 28, 1994, and received his commission on September 29, 1994. He assumed senior status on June 10, 2005.
