Said Gutseriev

Overview

Said Gutseriev is a UK-based entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist, recognised by Forbes as one of the world’s wealthiest businessmen since 2018. Gutseriev has invested in a variety of companies in the technology, retail, and e-commerce sectors. 

Early Life and Education 

Gutseriev’s education includes a bachelor’s degree in archaeology and anthropology from the University of Oxford and a master’s degree in Management of Oil and Gas Business from the University of Plymouth. In 2019, he founded The Chingiz Gutseriv Fellowship at St. Peter’s College, Oxford in support of archaeological research at his alma mater.

Career 

Gutseriev founded venture capital firm Larnabel Ventures in 2016. Through Larnabel Ventures, Gutseriev works to support creative entrepreneurs to pioneer innovative technologies across a wide range of sectors, including finance, retail, gaming and consumer.

He is also a majority shareholder and non-executive Director of leading consumer electronics brand M.VideoEldorado, in which he formerly served as a Chairman. 

The businessman was key in helping merge e-commerce platform goods.ru with SberBank in 2020, forming SberMegaMarket.
