Biography
Buya Haji Rusli Halil (23 Juli 1920 – 10 Juli 1984) merupakan pendiri Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) dan Ketua UmumPersatuan Tarbiyah Islamiyah (PERTI) periode 1966–1985. Ia juga pernah menjadi anggota MPR RI periode 1971–1977, anggota tim P-7, anggota DPA periode 1973–1978, dan anggota DPR RI dari daerah pemilihan Sumatera Barat periode 1982–1987.
