Roz Weston (born October 22, 1974) is a Canadian entertainment reporter who currently works with Entertainment Tonight Canada and Toronto's Kiss 92.5.
Early life
Weston was born on October 22, 1974, in Montreal, Canada.
Career
Weston made his debut in the show business in 1994, when he interned for the American radio personality, Howard Stern. In 2003, he became the host for Toronto-1 network's late night television talk show, Last Call. Toronto-1 channel was acquired by Quebecor, and subsequently, Last Call was cancelled, following which, Weston became the senior reporter for Quebecor's television show, "The A-List."
In September 2005, he joined Global TV's entertainment show ET Canada.
In November 2008, Weston, alongside Arisa Cox, Rosey Edeh, and Jason Ruta, was part of the TV reality show, Glitz, Glam, Geminis. On the Red Carpet.
In July 2009, Weston, along with Mocha Frap, began hosting the radio show, "The Roz and Mocha Show," on Toronto's KiSS 92.5 (formerly Jack FM).
In March 2018, Weston became the host for ET Canada Live, on Global TV.
Acting
In 2014, Weston played the role of "Angus" in "Deal with the Devil" episode of television series, Rookie Blue.
In the news
In 2015, The Globe and Mail reported that Weston has been practicing Transcendental Meditation to help him cope with his hectic schedule.
In 2016, Weston was named "One of Canada's Best Dressed" by HELLO! Canada magazine.
The following year, in September 2017, Weston was able to get a street named after him in the town of Acton, where he has lived all his life. The laneway, titled "Roz Weston Lane," connects the Tim Horton's to the Beer store.
Personal life
Weston, previously divorced, is currently in a relationship with Canadian photographer, Katherine Holland. They had met in around 2005 at a party hosted by Paris Hilton. The couple has a daughter, Roxy Alabama.
