Coach Roy Lucas was the head college football coach for the West Virginia Tech Golden Bears located in Montgomery, West Virginia. He held that position for 7 seasons, from 1976 until 1982. His coaching record at West Virginia Tech was 26 wins, 35 losses and 4 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #5 at West Virginia Tech in total wins and #11 at the school in winning percentage (.431). He is a brother of Jerry Lucas.
