Biography
Roseline Sonayee Konya is an academic from Khana, Rivers State. She is professor of Toxicology and Pharmacology at the University of Port Harcourt. She served as Commissioner of Environment in the cabinet of Governor Peter Odili and was re-appointed to same office in the cabinet of Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.
Konya's husband Tombari was a Commissioner nominee in 2003. Two days to his being sworn into office, he died under mysterious circumstances.
