Biography
Rosanna Mangiarelli is an Australian journalist and news presenter, currently working with the Seven Network in Adelaide, Australia. Mangiarelli currently presents Today Tonight South Australia.
Education
Mangiarelli attended the University of South Australia and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in journalism in 1997. Australian comedian and actor, Richard Marsland, was one of her classmates at the university.
Career
Mangiarelli began her journalism career working for Central GTS/BKN in Port Pirie, Australia.
In 1999, she joined Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) as producer and presenter. While at ABC, she presented a daily national news program for Asia Pacific, an ABC satellite service. In addition, she acted as a stand-by presenter for ABC News South Australia.
In January 2004, she joined the Seven Network and has remained with the network since. Currently, she hosts Today Tonight South Australia. She first anchored Today Tonight in 2006 as a substitute for the show's staple Leigh McClusky, when McClusky was on a maternity leave. McClusky left the network in 2007 and Mangiarelli became its official presenter on 20 August 2007.
She also presented the news on the breakfast show, Sunrise on two occasions including while the show was live in Disneyland, California.
Mangiarelli has been an ambassador for Thoroughbred Racing South Australia, and for various charities such as Little Big Book Club, Novita Children's Services, and Sight For All.
Personal life
Mangiarelli is married to her husband Andrew. The couple has a daughter (born 2009.)
