Biography
Roland Rother (* 29. März 1944 in Frankfurt an der Oder) ist ein deutscher Bildhauer und Medailleur.
Roland Rother erlernte den Beruf eines Malers und Lackierers und studierte später an der Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee. Danach ging er in seine Heimatstadt zurück und schuf Figuren und Reliefs u. a. für Frankfurt (Oder), Eisenhüttenstadt, Fürstenwalde/Spree, Beeskow und Eberswalde. Seit 1991 wohnt Rother in Wilmersdorf bei Briesen. 1997 gestaltete er die Adonisquelle in Mallnow.
