Biography
R.T. (Roger) de Groot (Den Haag, 27 april 1966) is een Nederlands politicus van het CDA.
In 1990 werd hij actief binnen het CDA (onder andere in Heino en het CDA Bureau Overijssel) en vanaf maart 2006 zat hij in de gemeenteraad van Raalte. De Groot was projectleider bij de Grontmij voor hij in januari 2008 wethouder in Raalte werd. In april 2012 volgde zijn benoeming tot burgemeester van de Drentse gemeente De Wolden.
