Biography
Roberto Carlos Leyva Cortez (born October 27, 1979 in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico) is a former Mexican professional boxer who held the International Boxing Federation Minimumweight title between 2001-2002.
Professional career
Leyva turned professional in 1998 and compiled a record of 18-0 before facing and beating Colombian boxer Daniel Reyes to win the IBF Minimumweight title.
