Robert Irving III

Robert Irving III is an American jazz pianist, composer, and music director, best known for his work with the jazz fusion group Weather Report.

Irving was raised in Chicago and began studying piano at an early age. He attended the University of Illinois, where he studied music.

Irving is best known for his extensive collaboration with jazz fusion group Weather Report. He was a member of the group from 1977 to 1989 and contributed to several of their albums. Additionally, he has worked with jazz and R&B artists such as Lester Bowie, David Bowie, and Miles Davis.

Irving has released several albums as a solo artist, including "Midnight Dream" in 1988 and "New Momentum" in 2018. These albums showcase his unique blend of jazz, funk, and R&B influences.
