Biography
Robert Amelung (* 21. September 1877; † 2. November 1964) war ein promovierter deutscher Militärarzt.
Im Ersten Weltkrieg diente er an Bord der SMS Seydlitz.
Er war von 1939 bis 1942 Chef des Marinelazaretts in Varel und von 1942 bis 1944 Chef des Marinekurlazaretts in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Er war zuletzt Marinegeneralarzt.
Sein Sohn ist der Unternehmer Hans-Jürgen Amelung.
