Rob Kardashian is an American television personality, socialite, and businessman, best known for appearing on reality television shows Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Dancing with the Stars, and Rob & Chyna.
Early life
Robert Kardashian (Robert Arthur Kardashian) was born on March 17, 1987, in Los Angeles, California, to Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner.
His father was an attorney, and his mother, a television personality. In 1991, his parents divorced and his mother married Bruce Jenner (Caitlyn Jenner,) a retired Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete. His father died in September 2003 from esophageal cancer. He has three older sisters - Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé.
Kardashian earned a degree in Business Entrepreneurship in 2009 from Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
Career
Television
Kardashian has appeared in several reality television shows.
In 2011, he was a contestant on season 13 of Dancing with the Stars. Cheryl Burke was his partner. The pair stood second in the show; J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff were the winners.
In 2012, Kardashian participated in The Choice, a dating game show on Fox TV.
In the fall of 2016, he was part of the reality series Rob & Chyna - a show on E! that chronicled his relationship with model Blac Chyna, his fiancé, as they prepare to welcome their first child. Walter Mosley was the Executive Producer, and it was produced by Bunim/Murray Productions and Ryan Seacrest Productions. The seven-part show was a commercial success despite receiving mixed reviews form the critics. The show was renewed for another season to be premiered in 2017.
Kardashian was also one of the judges in the finals of Miss USA 2012.
Business
Kardashian is involved in several business ventures.
He is the co-manager of pop group BG5 (Beach Girl5.) He entered a partnership with Rival Spot, an online gaming company. In 2012, he founded Arthur George, an online store for men's socks.
Personal Life
Kardashian was in a relationship with actress Adrienne Bailon from 2007 to 2009.
In 2012, he dated singer Rita Ora.
He started dating Blac Chyna in January 2016. In April 2016, the couple announced their engagement via Instagram. Their daughter, Dream Renée Kardashian, was born on November 10, 2016.
