Biography

Rinu (Japanese: 莉犬, Riinu 24 May 1998 – ) is a Japanese male singer. He is a member of the 6-person Japanese group Strawberry Prince. He is from Tokyo.

Overview

Rinu's blood type is B, and he is short. He is Strawberry Prince's cute member, and his image is red. He is officially paired with Root, and the two of them alongside Colon form the traffic light group (Children's group).

In addition to group activities, he also posts covers, original songs and animated skits, and does live broadcasts on video distribution sites. These animated skits involve him doing various voices for that of his brother Riken-kun (Japanese: りけんくん) and their friends Rineko-kun (Japanese: りねこくん) and Riiko-chan (Japanese: りいこちゃん). Some of these videos have more than 1500 views, and his Youtube channel currently has over 800,000 subscribers.

On 11 December 2019, he released his first full album, Time Capsule (Japanese: タイムカプセル), which included songs he had written the lyrics to. It placed second in Oricon's weekly album ranking, and first in its daily ranking.

His name is Rinu, but on YouTube, TikTok and NicoNico he goes by Rinu-kun (Japanese: 莉犬くん). He also works as a voice actor under the name Koinu (Japanese: こいぬ).

He is a transgender man, and has said on his Twitter that he suffers from Gender dysphoria.
