Richard Wayne Lewis

Richard Wayne Lewis (born December 1962) is a London-based entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is a founding partner of Tristan Capital Partners, a London-based real estate private equity firm and its predecessor, Curzon Global Partners (1998–2008). He is also the founder and managing executive director of UK/US registered charity the Black Heart Foundation. He ranked first in the Powerlist 2019, an annual list of the UK's most influential people with African or Afro-Caribbean heritage.

Lewis was a partner and senior managing director of AEW Capital Management, a Boston-based investment management business. He and his partners founded Curzon Global Partners, a London-based pan-European real estate private equity investment company. Lewis was a founding partner of Tristan Capital Partners in 2009, a London-based private equity real estate firm.

Lewis also served as a Trustee of the Royal National Children's Springboard Foundation, the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College (USA), Board of Directors, Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Board of Governors of King Solomon Academy, Board of Directors of the Eastside Young Leaders Academy, Board of Directors for Sported, Board of Trustees (Chairman) of The Institute of Imagination (London Children's Museum).

He is a former Board of Directors of London First, former Board of Trustees of the International Inspiration (Charity for London Olympic Games), former Board of Trustees, Teach First, former Board of Directors, Grassroot Soccer (South Africa), former Board of Directors, Smurfit School of Business, University College Dublin.

Lewis was ranked second in the Powerlist 2018 and 2017. He was awarded Europe Industry Figure of the Year in the European category of the 10th PERE Global Awards. Lewis was awarded a place in the Boston Jaycees Ten Outstanding Young Leaders Award (1998).
