Richard Balcombe (born 8 September 1955) is a British musician, and orchestra conductor.

He studied piano and violin at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, receiving his degree in 1976.
Career
He has conducted the orchestra for Friday Night Is Music Night on Radio 2, working with the BBC Concert Orchestra.
Personal life
He lives in Sawbridgeworth in Hertfordshire.
