Biography
Rhodanthe Lipsett OAM is an Australian midwife and author.
She specialised in infant and maternal health.
Recognition
Lipsett was awarded a Medal in the Order of Australia in 1992 for her services to Australian women and their families.
In 1996, she was made a Fellow of the Australian College of Midwives in recognition of her work for the profession.
In 2006, the Australian College of Midwives created the Rhodanthe Lipsett Award' worth $1000 in recognition of her work.
Other works
She published her first book, No 'One Right Way' - a handbook for parents. Nurturing your baby in the first three months of life, in 2004.
