Reggie Charles Hamdy is a Canadian medical practitioner and professor.
Hamdy, currently, is a professor in the Department of Pediatric Surgery at McGill University Health Center, Montreal, Quebec. In addition, he is Chief of Staff at Shriners Hospital for Children-Canada, Montreal, Quebec, and Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedics at McGill University.
Hamdy is a graduate of the University of Alexandria, Egypt, from where he earned an M.D. degree in 1976 and an M.Sc. degree in 1981. His residency training was at the Ottawa University, in the years 1986-1990.
His clinical Interests are: Deformity correction limb lengthening & management of children affected with various neuromuscular conditions, and research Interests are: Stimulate bone regeneration using scaffolds, growth factors, stem cells & novel medical devices.
