Biography

Rao Gujarmal Singh (1739-1750) was a son of Rao Nandaram Singh and Chandravanshi Ahir was the ruler. Rao Gujarmal's elder brother, Rao Bal Kishan, fought on 24 February 1739 against the Nadir Shah in Karnal war, got Veergati, after which Rao Gujarmal became king. Seeing Rao Bal Kishan's valor and bravery, Nadir Shah named Rao Raj Gharana as "Rao Bahadur". At the time of Rao Gujarmal, the strength of the Ahir family was at the peak. The main cities of Rewari, Jhajjar, Dadri, Hansi, Hisar, Kainad, and Narnaul were included in their manor. The fort of Gurraada and Gokul Garh is given by this period. The currency of Gokul coin was done in this period. The name of his father, Stupa and Reservoir was also constructed by Gujralam. He had established Ramgarh, Jaitapur and Srinagar villages in Brahmanpur and Morana and Rewari in Meerut.

The Baloch king of Farrukhnagar and the descendant of Hathi Singh, Ghasera's Bahadur Singh were both the Kataar enemies of Rao Gujarmal. Bahadur Singh, Jat Raja of Bharatpur was separated from Surajmal and was independent ruled. Then Rao Gujarmal together with Surajmal responded to him. Gujarmal was also friendly with Todarmal of Bahamur Singh's father-in-law Neemrana. In 1750, Todarmal invited Rao Gujarmal on the advice of Bahadur Singh and slaughtered him.
